Quality Control Technician

A well-established and respected engineering company based in the Guisborough area is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control professional to join their team.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet strict quality standards and customer specifications. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining and improving the quality management system and will work closely with production and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Identifying and reporting non-conformities and implementing corrective actions
• Supporting and maintaining ISO 9001 standards
• Compiling and maintaining inspection records and quality reports
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality issues
• Supporting continuous improvement initiative

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a QC or QA role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
