Quality Controller

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality Controller based in Bedford for a reputable professional organisation.

Summary of theQuality Controller role…

Salary: £27,846 + shift allowance £3288.96
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotational days and nights.

The role…

As the Quality Controller your role will involve the following important duties:

• Monitor product quality.
• Test product against the customer's requirement.
• Perform CCP metal detection checks.
• Report results and metal detection failures.
• Ensure that Certificates of analysis are sent to the customer.
• Ensure that product labels and Job Sheets are printed.

The experience required…

As a successful Quality Controller you will have the following:

• Level 2 or 3 HACCP qualification.
• Internal auditing qualification/certification.
• Food safety qualification.
• Experience within a similar role in the food industry.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
