Quality Controller

Nolan Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Colchester-based client who are seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with a manufacturing or engineering background who is passionate about maintaining high standards, improving processes and driving quality excellence across the business.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

* Ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality standards.

* Conducting inspections and quality checks across production and operational processes.

* Investigating quality concerns and implementing effective corrective actions.

* Analysing quality data and identifying opportunities for improvement.

* Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments to enhance quality performance.

* Building strong relationships with suppliers and customers to support quality objectives.

* Supporting continuous improvement projects and helping to drive best practice throughout the business.

* Maintaining accurate quality documentation and records.

* Assisting in the development and improvement of quality procedures and processes.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Previous experience working within a Quality Control position in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

* A proactive approach to continuous improvement.

* The confidence to make recommendations that improve quality and efficiency.

* Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

* Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Experience maintaining quality records and databases.
