Quality Controller – Food Production

Colchester

4 day on 4 day off £15 PH

We are looking for experienced Quality Controllers with a background in Food Manufacturing, Food Processing or Fresh Produce

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out quality checks on products throughout the production and packing process.

* Identify and remove sub-standard, damaged or out of specification products.

* Accurately complete quality control sheets, production records and other relevant documentation.

* Record quality issues clearly and report any concerns to the relevant Supervisor or Manager.

* Follow all food safety, hygiene and company procedures.

What We Are Looking For

* Previous Quality Control experience within Food Manufacturing, Food Processing or Fresh Produce is highly desirable.

* Experience checking products on a fast-moving production or packing line.

* A good eye for detail and the ability to identify defects quickly.

* Good literacy and numeracy skills.

* Basic to good Microsoft Excel/computer skills.

* Accurate and confident when completing paperwork and quality records.

* Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines.

* A good understanding of Food Hygiene and Food Safety is advantageous.

Experience in Fresh Produce, Food Processing or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
