Salary: £30,000 – £38,000
Hours: 37.5 per week – Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00

The Role
My client is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join their Microbiology team in Needham Market. This role is ideal for someone with microbiology laboratory experience and a good understanding of ISO 17025. While prior quality experience is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and improve the site’s Quality Management System
• Manage document control and prepare/amend quality documentation
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and queries
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits (e.g. UKAS, RSA)
• Monitor equipment calibration and internal quality control
• Deliver quality inductions and assist in staff training
• Analyse trends and prepare monthly KPI reports
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and escalate quality issues as needed

Requirements
• Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
• Microbiology laboratory experience
• Good understanding of ISO 17025
• Previous experience in a quality role is desirable
• Strong IT, analytical, and communication skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
