I’m recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join an established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire.

This is a varied role combining customer complaints, non-conformances, inspections, quality systems and continuous improvement. It would suit a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or junior Quality Engineer looking to broaden their experience.

The role is roughly 50% office-based and 50% hands-on within the manufacturing environment.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

Managing customer complaints and internal non-conformances

*

Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions

*

Carrying out product and process inspections

*

Supporting internal audits and ISO 9001 compliance

*

Maintaining quality records and documentation

*

Monitoring quality data and trends

*

Working with production and other departments to resolve issues

*

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What I’m looking for

Ideally, you’ll have:

*

Quality experience within manufacturing or engineering

*

Knowledge of non-conformances and root cause analysis

*

Experience working with a Quality Management System

*

Good IT and basic Excel skills

*

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

*

Confidence working with and challenging people on the shop floor

Experience with SAP, CRM systems, internal auditing or ISO 9001 would be useful, but training can be provided.

What’s on offer

£28,000 – £32,000 salary

Up to 5% annual company bonus
