The Quality Engineer is required to improve the quality of the manufacturing process using various quality tools. The Role:
Your tasks: As the quality engineer, your responsibilities include:
* Facilitate 8D problem-solving activities for supplier/internal complaints from initial containment through to fix verification...
* Support goods inwards containment activities.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement activities.
* Support supplier audits and conduct internal audits.
Your Background:
* Quality Engineering background
* Aerospace background
* Understanding of AS and ISO standards
* Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
* ASQ certification preferred.
* A full knowledge of AS9100 rev D
* 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Qualification in an Engineering discipline to HNC level or equivalent.
* Experience of working within manufacturing and a Quality Engineering function.
* Must have produced FAIR’s to AS9102 rev C
* Full knowledge of APQP and PPAP, statistical process control metrology or inspection methods/equipment and the 8D problem solving methodology.
