Support analysis of manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives and waste reduction activities. Support Work Improvement Proposals (WIPs), Process Validation Forms (PVFs), and Failure Analysis (FA) activities. Undertake the Non-Conformance (NC) Leader role when required.
Industrial Assets & Tooling
Support maintenance and repair requests for equipment and tooling. Assist in the specification, development, modification, and improvement of production jigs and tooling. Support calibration and ongoing management of manufacturing assets to ensure operational readiness.
Outstanding Work & Work Order Management
Assist with the creation and management of outstanding work documentation. Work with multifunctional teams to assess and prioritise outstanding work requests. Support the management of blocked work orders and escalate issues impacting production schedules. Assist production teams in prioritising serial and rework work orders associated with non-conformities, concessions, or production constraints.
Health, Safety & Quality
Promote and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across the production area. Support the communication and implementation of EHS requirements on the shop floor. Assist in the identification, investigation, and resolution of near-miss incidents. Ensure manufacturing processes, procedures, and quality standards are consistently applied. Support a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Logistics Support
Support material prioritisation activities to ensure rework and production requirements are met. Work closely with logistics teams to minimise production delays and maintain workflow continuity.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience supporting quality processes, non-conformance management, or production improvement activities. A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent organisational and communication skills. A proactive mindset with a focus on quality, safety, and operational performance.
What's on Offer
Opportunity to play a key role in a complex manufacturing environment. Exposure to a wide range of engineering, production, quality, and operational functions.
