The company is investing significantly in its manufacturing capabilities and supplies technically demanding sectors including aerospace, defence and automotive. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Quality Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes and working closely with manufacturing teams. **The Role:** - Managing non-conformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions. - Supporting ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems. - Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits. - Preparing and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and ISIR documentation. - Using quality tools including 8D, 5 Why, FMEA and SPC. - Working with production and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing quality issues. - Supporting supplier quality and continuous improvement activities. **The Candidate:** - Previous experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment. - Good working knowledge of ISO 9001. - Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. - A practical approach to resolving quality issues on the shop floor. Experience within aerospace, automotive, composites or precision engineering would be advantageous, although not essential.
