Location: Oxford
Salary: £55,000+ (negotiable)

About the Role and Company

Join a rapidly growing life sciences company based in Oxford, developing cutting-edge technology that helps researchers better understand biomolecules. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll drive quality across production and supply chain processes, ensuring standards are met and issues resolved effectively.

Role Overview

You’ll lead quality planning, testing, and supplier assurance activities, while also managing investigations, audits, and process improvements. This is a strategic and collaborative role with real impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards, control plans, and procedures
• Lead root cause investigations and implement CAPAs
• Manage testing protocols and product validation with R&D
• Oversee daily quality control, inspections, and shop floor fixes
• Conduct supplier audits and resolve material quality issues
• Maintain ERP quality transactions and support process improvements
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, GMP, and customer requirements
• Act as main point of contact for customer complaints and resolutions

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and quality tools
• ERP experience and data-driven problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with excellent teamwork skills

• CQE, Six Sigma certification, or ISO Lead Auditor
• Experience in a regulated or life sciences environment
