About the Role

We’re looking for a visionary Quality Engineering Architect to elevate our testing and automation practices and champion a culture of quality across engineering teams. This role isn’t about gatekeeping, it’s about guiding. You’ll shape how we think about testing, coach teams on automation strategy, and partner closely with platform leads and DevOps to architect the path toward continuous deployment. What You’ll Do

• Define the “How” of Quality

Lead the design of testing strategies, frameworks, processes and tooling that embed quality at every stage of development, from ideation to release.

• Coaching & Enablement

Act as a strategic coach for QE and cross-functional engineering teams, helping them level up in automation, exploratory testing, test design, and observability.

• Strategic Partnership

Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Platform leaders to shape our roadmap for Continuous Deployment, ensuring safe, reliable releases.

• Architect Quality

Own the QA architecture vision, selecting tools and approaches suited to mobile and cross-platform development while balancing speed and resilience.

• Champion the Culture of Quality

Inspire and enable engineers to take ownership of quality through workshops, guilds, and storytelling that connects testing to customer trust.

What You Bring

• Proven experience architecting Quality Engineering practices within mobile and cross-platform environments


• Deep understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., XCUITest, Espresso, Cypress, Playwright) and test pyramid principles


• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and enabling continuous delivery in a fast-paced product environment


• Natural coach with a passion for mentoring engineers and advocating for modern quality practices


• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadership

You’ll join our Quality Engineering team, a group of passionate engineers and strategists who are shaping how we build and release software at scale. This is a highly collaborative, cross‑functional group working with platform teams, DevOps, and product leads to bring world‑class quality to every release. Our team members are distributed across several countries, and we’ve embraced asynchronous ways of working—your work‑life balance and focus time are important to us. Regular stand‑ups and technical discussions happen during overlapping hours, ensuring that time zones won’t hold you back from making an impact.

• Drive strategic quality initiatives: Work closely with engineering, product, and platform leaders to advance our roadmap toward continuous deployment and safer, faster releases.


• Champion a culture of quality: Inspire and enable engineers through workshops, guilds, and storytelling, connecting testing to customer trust and product excellence.

The skills you will need to be successful in the above

• Demonstrated experience architecting quality practices within mobile and cross‑platform environments.


• Deep knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., XCUITest, Espresso, Cypress, Playwright) and test pyramid principles.


• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and enabling continuous delivery in a fast‑moving environment.


• A natural coach and mentor, with a proven ability to uplift others’ skills and foster inclusive collaboration.


• A strategic mindset with strong communication skills, able to influence and partner with engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders.

The interview process

• A live technical session with one of our senior engineers to explore how you solve real‑world problems and collaborate on design ideas.


• A short assignment to present in a one‑hour interview with your hiring manager (Head of Quality Engineering) to discuss your vision, growth, and how you can thrive here.


• A 45-minute call with our VP of Engineering with behavioural questions about Technical leadersh


• A one‑hour call with 2–3 stakeholders you’d work closely with across engineering and product.
