Job Description - Quality Inspector

Join Our Client's Team as a Quality Inspector!

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing? Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing and engineering industry, is looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellence across various sectors, including sub-sea, oil and gas, rail, marine, automotive, furniture, defence, and aerospace. You will ensure that every product meets customer specifications and quality standards, working a four day working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) tailored to client specifications.
  • Inspect machined, fabricated, and welded components for quality compliance.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformities swiftly.
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections using precision inspection equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and update the ERP system.
  • Assist in enhancing quality control processes and support continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
  • Proficiency in measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and spotting inconsistencies.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CAD).
