Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to create and maintain a Quality focused culture throughout the business
• Dimensionally and visually inspect products to detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Carry out first offs, last offs, patrol inspection, incoming material and final inspection checks
• Communicate with the customers to discuss any potential or actual quality issues discovered
• Investigate and analyse and non- conforming product or any deviation to specification and raise concession requests when required
• Accurately complete manufacturing records, ensuring accuracy and full product process traceability
• Raising First Article Inspection reports
• Contribute in driving the Quality section forward with a focus on innovation and improvement
• Previous experience and certification in inspection under AS9100 or equivalent quality system

Desirable Experience:

• Must have experience working within a precision engineering company and metal machining environment
• Experience with both visual and dimensional inspection- micrometers, bore gauges and calipers
• Knowledge and experience of full inspection requirements, reports and CMM utililsation
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and understand and identify all engineering symbols
• Excellent communication skills
