Quality Inspector

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects?

We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join a major project in Middleton, supporting the delivery team through independent site inspections and promoting a strong quality-first culture across the project.

The Role

Carry out site inspections during construction and on completion of works.
Ensure works are delivered in line with approved designs, specifications and quality requirements.
Identify, investigate and report quality issues and non-conformances (NCRs).
Support the implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Review quality documentation and handover packs.
Provide coaching and guidance to site teams to help achieve right-first-time delivery.
Attend site meetings and work closely with engineers, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Support ongoing quality audits and site surveillances.
What We're Looking For

Experience working on civil engineering projects
Strong background in onsite quality inspections and NCR management
Experience with one or more of the following:

Precast concrete
Piling
Earthworks
Surfacing
CSCS Card
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Quality-related site experience

Desirable

Experience on major infrastructure or highways projects
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
SMSTS
Understanding of NEC contracts
