JM Selection are pleased to be working in partnership with a large, international business, recruiting for the below role.

Job Summary

The main responsibility of the Quality Inspector is to prevent customers receiving defective parts or products, which helps protect the company’s quality reputation, and supports continuous improvement of processes.
Responsible for inspecting materials, products and processes to ensure conformity against quality standards, and is the first line of defense against defects, ensuring product reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Liaise with national and international suppliers for resolution of identified issues and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Support shipment holds and product reworks ensuring quarantine of affected products. Flexibility to support other teams within the operations group may also be required during busy periods.

Responsibilities

* Carry out IQC inspections of supplied materials in line with supplier deliveries and required shipping schedules

* Support inspections of completed products in line with required shipping schedules

* ▪ Liaise with suppliers for issue resolution

* ▪ Support shipment holds/product reworks

* ▪ Support production within deployment area if/when required

Skills

* Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data and identify quality issues efficiently.

* Computer literate, including Microsoft Office

* Proven experience in quality assurance or inspection roles, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration across teams.

* Ability to follow detailed procedures, work independently, and prioritise tasks effectively.

Please note, the ability to drive is desirable due to location and start time.

Monday to Friday, days regular (7.30am start)
