Schedule: Monday to Friday, some evenings and weekends may be on call

Business Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-7pm(37.5hr working week)

In 2025 we opened our warehouse in Crawley, West Sussex, UK and we are looking for the right person to help grow Pioneer into phase 2. This role will be receiving deliveries for our inventory. The role calls for a real team player.

Summary:

As a Quality Inspector at Pioneer Aero Supply, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our inventory. Your primary responsibility will be receiving and verifying that parts align precisely with their documentation and condition specifications. Additionally, you'll oversee packaging protocols, capturing inbound and outbound images, and collaborating closely with the team to uphold our standards of excellence.

Physical Demands:

Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 25kg and heavier weights with the proper equipment.  The individual in this role may be required to use a Pallet Truck, Fork Lift, Scissor Lift or other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Understand and align with the company's objectives, consistently following established processes and procedures.


• Fulfill orders by accurately selecting boxes from inventory shelves.


• Receive and inspect 10-20 daily packages from carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.


• Perform meticulous inspections of aircraft parts to validate correct serial numbers and review associated trace paperwork.


• Collaborate with the team to strategize and manage daily workload needs effectively.


• Maintain departmental organization and preparedness for diverse tasks.


• Utilize the Google Workspace platform to manage calendars and tasks efficiently.


• Prioritize and manage competing priorities, ensuring task completion within set deadlines.


• Responsively address team requests and process-related inquiries.


• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers like FedEx and DHL, facilitating customs clearance processes.


• Assist in acquiring necessary paperwork from vendors and customers, utilizing Salesforce for data entry, file scanning, and reporting purposes.


• Uphold a professional demeanor representing the company internally, in client interactions, and during meetings.


• Perform various tasks including scanning, filing, phone handling, and communication with customers, carriers, vendors, and colleagues.


• Be available on-call for occasional weekend duties.


• Opportunity to obtain Hazmat Certification during training.


• Thoroughly comprehend and interpret trace documents related to aircraft parts.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in quality inspection or related fields.(minimum of 3 years experience preferred)

Familiarity with aircraft parts and associated trace documentation is a plus.

High attention to detail with a meticulous approach to inspections and documentation.

Must be able to lift up to 25kg.

Ability to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.

Excellent communication skills for interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in using Google Workspace, Salesforce, and other relevant software/tools is a plus.
