Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 11:53pm (Friday Off!)
About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone with inspection experience and a keen eye for detail to play a key role in maintaining the highest quality standards across the production process.
Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams, you will be responsible for inspecting components, identifying defects, supporting investigations, and ensuring all products meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out quality control and inspection activities, including visual inspection of manufactured parts. Conduct inspections using manual measuring equipment such as Verniers, Micrometers and Plug Gauges. Support engineering investigations relating to defects, non-conformances and tooling modifications. Assist with day-to-day manufacturing inspection activities. Ensure all work is completed in line with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements. Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area in accordance with company standards. Complete inspection documentation and records accurately.Skills & Experience
Essential
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, processes and procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to accurately complete quality documentation and paperwork.Desirable
Previous experience within a quality inspection or quality assurance environment. Experience using measuring equipment such as CMMs, Optical Measuring Machines or similar inspection equipment. Knowledge of foreign object defects, root cause identification and corrective actions. Manufacturing or engineering industry experience.Personal Attributes
