Location: Stevenage
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm , Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm
Salary: £55,000-£65,000Are you an experienced Quality professional looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for a proactive Quality Lead to support product quality, lead continuous improvement and help drive a zero-defects culture across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with different teams and helping people deliver the highest standards of quality.

The Quality Lead Role

As Quality Lead, you will oversee the Quality team and work closely with Production and Engineering to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities as a Quality Lead include:

Leading quality improvements and promoting a zero-defects approach.
Maintaining quality systems and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
Reviewing quality data, identifying trends and putting improvement plans in place.
Leading customer, regulatory and internal audits.
Managing audit findings and ensuring actions are completed on time.
Supporting new product development and APQP activities.
Overseeing inspection activities, product quality and equipment calibration.
Supporting the development of the Quality team and encouraging collaboration across the business.About You, as a Quality Lead:

Has experience in a Quality role within a technical or engineering environment.
Has problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Can work confidently with technical drawings, engineering data and inspection equipment.
Understands quality systems, audits and customer requirements.
Communicates well and enjoys working with, and managing different teams.
Can support and develop others to achieve quality targets.Interested?
