Role: Quality Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits and Career opportunities
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. 7:30am-1:30pm Friday.
Location: Commutable from Camberley, Yateley, Reading, Basingstoke, Woking, Aldershot, Guildford and surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a growing Aerospace Manufacturing organisation based near Camberley. You will be leading the quality function of the organisation, managing a small team of 4 that is currently going through a period of growth.

Overseeing a small team within Quality, as a Quality Manager you will help to grow, develop and lead the team. Utilising their experience to knowledge-share with more junior members and elevate their skillsets. In return you will be given a platform to enact meaningful change and gain real recognition for your efforts.

This is a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment where each small improvement can have a real impact on the performance and success of the business.

Responsibilities

Maintain, develop and manage the QMS’ (ISO9001 & AS9100).

Train, develop and mentor more junior members of the quality function.

Act as the quality point of contact for key stake holders both internally and externally.

Conduct internal audits and oversee audits of external regulatory bodies.

Promote and champion quality best practices, driving a quality culture throughout the business.

Your main and primary role is the day-to-day running and management of the quality function.

Requirements

Previous experience in Quality Management in a sub-contract or tiered supplier manufacturing environment.

Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001

Hands-on quality skillset (RCA, 8D, 5Why, etc)

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor more junior members of staff.

Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team
