We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to coordinate activities required to meet our quality standards. The Quality Manager will monitor and advise on the performance of our quality management system, produce data, and generate reports on performance against set indicators. This role is crucial for advising on changes, implementing new processes, and training staff on requirements and techniques.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead, motivate, and develop the team to ensure all duties are fulfilled to the required standards within health and safety requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day operation onsite, including workload planning, testing, and documentation.
• Handle shift/working hours rota(s) and manage manpower requirements in line with workload and service demands.
• Ensure all personnel receive appropriate training for the equipment and machinery used within the factory.
• Act as a point of contact for all Quality related queries and manage the day-to-day Quality activities for the company.
• Responsible for the processes of inspection and testing materials, equipment, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Lead daily reviews of Quality KPIs & Product conformity, setting key actions for any deviations.
• Operate and maintain a Quality Management System, ensuring product certification, operational testing, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ensure sampling, measuring, and analysis procedures are in place and respected.
• Conduct and review Quality risk assessments and chair Quality Review meetings.
• Lead Customer Quality investigations and ensure effective root cause & corrective actions are implemented.
• Oversee quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process and manage daily/weekly Quality walks.
• Produce monthly reports and complete customer-specific Quality questionnaires and data submissions as required.
• Work closely with the Compliance Manager on annual ISO and external audits to ensure process improvements.
• Undertake special projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and relevant certifications.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve day-to-day operational issues.
• Experience in conducting Quality risk assessments and managing Quality control activities.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and external audits.
