Quality Manager

Job Title: Quality Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Coventry
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in manufacturing? Our client, a well-established and reputable manufacturer based in Coventry, is seeking a skilled and proactive professional to lead their Quality function.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where quality and continuous improvement are at the core of their operations. You’ll play a key role in shaping the quality strategy, driving standards, and ensuring compliance across all areas of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Quality department to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards
• Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated procedures
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
• Monitor quality KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a strong culture of quality across all levels of the business

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, CAPA, FMEA, and other quality tools
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Audit experience (internal, customer, or third-party)
• A hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving
