Quality Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Quality Manager for a precision engineering company with over a century of heritage in the manufacture of high-quality, bespoke components. Operating from a modern facility in Bradford, this organisation supplies a diverse range of sectors including aerospace, defence, power generation, and industrial equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead quality improvement projects to reduce defects, increase customer satisfaction, and cut the cost of quality
• Manage, maintain and develop the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and LEAN initiatives across the business
• Oversee supplier quality and development, including audits and performance monitoring
• Conduct internal and external audits and ensure readiness for customer and third-party audits
• Lead environmental risk assessments, including COSHH, and drive environmental improvements
• Foster a positive culture of quality, safety, and teamwork across Production, Quality and Technical departments
• Act as a role model for professionalism, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

• Proven experience in a Quality Management or Quality Improvement role in manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with LEAN or Six Sigma tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience working with suppliers and leading audits
• Proficient in data analysis to identify trends and drive improvement strategies
• NEBOSH, IOSH or Environmental qualifications (desirable)
