Location: Liverpool 

Salary: Circa £50,000 

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm

The Opportunity

As Quality Manager, you’ll lead the site’s quality function, ensuring systems, processes, and compliance standards remain robust, effective, and audit-ready. You’ll work closely with customers, regulatory bodies, and internal departments to drive quality performance and continuous improvement across the business.

This role offers a high level of autonomy and influence, making it ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and making a measurable impact in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and develop the Quality team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

· Maintain and enhance compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements

· Manage internal and external audits, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems and operational processes

· Build and maintain strong customer quality relationships, including the management of NCRs, concessions, and technical queries

· Analyse quality performance data and present clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership

· Ensure quality documentation, procedures, and processes remain current, controlled, and effective

· Work collaboratively across departments to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction

About You

We’re looking for a confident and approachable quality professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to lead, influence, and support others.

You’ll ideally have:

· Previous experience in a Quality Manager or Senior Quality role within aerospace, precision engineering, or another regulated manufacturing environment

· Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements

· Experience managing audits and customer or regulatory relationships

· A proactive, practical, and solutions-focused mindset

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships

· A passion for continuous improvement and maintaining high standards

· Experience within chemical processing or surface treatments would be advantageous
