This is a hands-on leadership role within a precision engineering environment, working closely with Production, Engineering, Inspection, and Senior Management teams to ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction are achieved. Quality Managers within manufacturing environments are typically responsible for maintaining ISO 9001 systems, leading audits, managing non-conformances, driving corrective actions, and improving quality performance across the business.
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
* Experience leading internal and external audits.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
* Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
* Experience managing customer complaints and non-conformance processes.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
