Quality Manager (Apprenticeships / Further Education) £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits + Early Finish Friday + Life insurance Birmingham
Are you a Quality Manager or similar with experience in apprenticeships, further education, or work-based learning, looking for an autonomous and varied role overseeing quality across a well-established electrical training provider?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established electrical training provider delivering high-quality apprenticeship programmes to hundreds of learners across Birmingham and the wider region, working in partnership with employers to develop the next generation of skilled electricians.
In this role you will take ownership of quality assurance across apprenticeship programmes, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment are consistently maintained. You will carry out lesson observations, support and develop teaching staff, lead standardisation activities, and ensure compliance with Ofsted and awarding body requirements, while driving continuous improvement across the provision.
This role would suit a Quality Manager or similar with experience in apprenticeships or further education, looking to drive quality and continuous improvement.
The role
Lead quality assurance across apprenticeship programmes, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. Conduct lesson observations and support the development of tutors and assessors through coaching and CPD. Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, apprenticeship standards, and awarding body regulations. Drive continuous improvement through quality reviews, standardisation meetings, and quality improvement planning.The person
Experience in a Quality Manager, IQA, or similar quality-focused role within apprenticeships or further education. Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, apprenticeship standards, and quality assurance processes. Hold Teaching, Assessment, and IQA qualifications. Commutable to BirminghamReference:BBBH25737A
