These projects consist of New Builds and Refurbishments, primarily in the residential and commercial sectors, carried out on a Design & Build basis. The Quality Control Building Inspector Role Reporting to the Construction Director the successful this role the Quality Manager, is in effect an in-house Building Inspector come Clerk of Works, ensuring the quality of the day to day construction work packages being undertaken, both by the client as the main contractor and the various external subcontractors. Typical projects are valued from approximately £3m to £8m, predominantly based in the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions. This person will be office based going out to sites, must be organised and self-motivated to succeed. The successful candidate will be the on-site champion of their quality assurance policy, and actively work towards delivering a defect-free construction aligned with client expectations and all regulatory standards met.
