Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely influence site standards, develop people, and make a visible impact on business performance?
We're partnered with a well-established and growing food manufacturer in South Wales that supplies major retail and foodservice customers across the UK. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to appoint a Quality Manager to lead the site's quality and food safety agenda.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take full responsibility for the site's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, legal and food safety requirements while embedding a culture of quality throughout the business.
You'll play a key role in maintaining best-in-class standards and supporting the site's ongoing growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop the Quality Assurance team Manage and maintain BRCGS accreditation and audit readiness Lead customer, retailer and third-party audits Drive food safety, GMP and quality standards across the manufacturing operation Manage HACCP systems, risk assessments and food safety documentation Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective actions Analyse quality KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Work collaboratively with Production, Technical and NPD teams to ensure product quality is consistently achieved Act as the site's quality champion, influencing standards at all levels of the businessAbout You
We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Quality Manager who enjoys building relationships, leading teams and driving improvements.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in a Quality Manager, QA Manager or Technical Management role within food manufacturing Strong working knowledge of BRCGS standards and retailer requirements HACCP qualification and a solid understanding of food safety legislation Experience leading customer audits and retailer visits Proven leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams A continuous improvement mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the businessWhat's in It for You?
