Quality Officer

This is a factory based role, main responsibilities include:

Check the daily assembled production cages, first internally and then together with the client. Check sheets should be produced and kept on record for every cage.

Carry out regular checks on the daily produced C&B and keep records of those checks.

Carry out regular checks on the jigs used for assembly and keep records of those checks.

Generate the relevant NCR documentation when a quality problem arises.

Keep records of the KPIs related to daily quality tasks so that they remain up to date for ISO audits.

Requirements:

Willing to work in an industrial environment.

Some technical background that allows her/him to read reinforcing drawings, BBS and other basic technical documentation.

Able to prioritise different tasks.

Experienced in using Microsoft Office, mainly Excel and Word.

Be able to analyse a quality problem related to the reinforcement (either C&B or assembled cages), identifying the root cause, communicating it to the responsible supervisor and proposing solutions.

The successful candidate will be in regular, direct contact with the client’s quality representatives in the workshop, so they must be able to address and resolve any issues that arise professionally.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and CARES requirements or certification would be an advantage, but is not essential
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
