Pertemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Production Quality Technician to join a dynamic engineering company based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail to join their team and grow within their fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Inspection of goods, machined, fabricated and surface finished goods
- Raising non-conformance reports of failed goods
- Complete bookings in process via ERP system
- Maintain and create goods inspection procedures for parts in accordance with ISO
- Create inspection jigs and fixtures to improve inspection times
- Packing of goods including boxed, palletised or crated
- Assist with arranging material certifications

Requirments for this role:
- Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of computerised stock control and ERP systems.
- Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good time keeping & physically fit for lifting.
- Maintenance of measuring equipment including calibration.
- Clean driving license - as role will require driving for local collections and inspections from suppliers.

The Quality Technician role
- Starting salary of £28,000 per annum
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
