Quality Technician (Component Areas)

## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nTo support the Quality Function within the Componen Production \u0026 Automated Assembly Areas in essential aspects of quality assurance. This includes the development and deployment of quality/monitoring \u0026 measurement and test systems. \n\"Provide elementary quality support in order to assure quality requirements are understood and deployed by the production/support functions; \nSupport the development, implementation and improvement of quality systems throughout the site; \nSupport the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article Inspection (FAI) Process, assuring that customer requirements are met when new product is introduced, or existing product is revised; \nAnalyse operational-level quality metrics and support periodic reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans in order to reduce quality risk; \nAnalyse operational statistical data related to product/process performance in order to recommend and implement quality improvements; \nInvestigate and eliminate the causes of non-conforming material/product. This includes assisting in customer complaint resolution (both external and internal customers) corrective/preventive action and root-cause determination; \nSupport the development and deployment of inspection, test / audit plans, acceptance criteria, quality/operator method sheets and quality procedures; \nParticipate in the auditing of product/internal quality systems and contribute to the generation of associated reports; \nParticipate in the calibration of monitoring and measurement equipment throughout the site; \nSupport the control of documentation upon the site, includes component/assembly drawings, tolerances \u0026 specifications, quality records and quality assurance procedures; \nChampion EQMS Policy requirements where listed as a key quality stakeholder, in particular, PFMEA, Process Control, , Process Capability, Control of Non-conforming Material Corrective/Preventive Action; \nSupport ELSS Problem-solving / Standard Work as a Certified Kaizen Facilitator. Actively lead projects and be an active member of problem-solving / standard work teams; \nTo undertake any other relevant duties deemed necessary to support the business.\" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nGCSE or Equivalent (Maths \u0026 English) \n1 Year Quality Assurance (Manufacturing/engineering preferred) \n \n\n\n## Skills:\n\n\"IT Skills particularly Microsoft Excel, \nEngineering Drawings \u0026 Specification \nDimensional Inspection Equipment and practices \nISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditing. \nAutomotive Quality Tool Kit (PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP)\" \nGood verbal and written communication, be able to Work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, organisation skills, time management.\n
