My client is seeking a strong Quality Leader to lead the company quality strategy and continuous improvement programme across their precision engineering operation in Powys. This is a quality-led leadership role, responsible for ensuring their products, processes and systems consistently meet the highest standards expected by customers across a range of different sectors.

Description
Leading and developing the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001/IATF16949 requirements. Acting as the customer quality champion, managing customer audits, complaints and quality performance metrics. Driving root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventative actions across the business. Leading internal and external audit programmes. Developing quality KPIs and reporting performance to the Managing Director Supporting new product introduction and APQP activities. Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve process capability and enhance customer satisfaction. Managing supplier quality performance and improvement initiatives. Promoting a culture of quality ownership across all departments. Providing oversight of site HSE systems to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.Profile
You will be a strong senior leader, ideally a Quality/Technical bias with manufacturing experience, along with:
Proven Quality Management experience within manufacturing, engineering or automotive environments. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles. A track record of driving continuous improvement and reducing non-conformance. Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA and SPC. Experience managing quality systems and leading audit programmes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Knowledge of IATF 16949 would be advantageous Strong HSE knowledge/experience would be advantageous
