What will you do?

• Manage overall project costs, budgets, and financial forecasts to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Support Project Managers and Engineers in pricing contract variations in line with client processes and contract rates.
• Negotiate and manage client and subcontractor contracts, identifying and minimising commercial risks.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow analysis, and labour resource forecasts for board-level reporting.
• Work with Procurement to secure favourable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend client meetings to resolve payment issues and review commercial matters.
• Assist Sales with reviewing tenders and pre-qualification questionnaires.
• Monitor contract performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide input into design reviews, procurement activities, and risk assessments.
• Ensure contract requirements and warranties are communicated across internal teams.

Where will you be doing it?

Our client has been a key player in the gas industry for over 40 years, developing technologies and solutions that are still used in the UK's national infrastructure today. With new ownership, their focus is now on supporting the gas industry's move to net zero.

What will you need?

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor (not at Assistant QS level)
• Proven experience with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
• Full UK driving licence
