Quantity Surveyor

Reymas Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a leading Roofing & Cladding Contractor. This role involves overseeing commercial aspects of roofing and cladding projects across the UK, from cost control to final account settlements. The position is open to both experienced and Assistant Quantity Surveyors with relevant transferable experience seeking progression. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation skills and a sound understanding of contract fundamentals. Projects typically range from £300K to £3M and are delivered for Tier 1 contractors nationwide.

The company delivers projects ranging from £300K to £3M and works with Tier 1 contractors across the UK, with a main hub of activity from the North West down to London.

Company: A well-established and growing national roofing contractor delivering large-scale projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Car Allowance, Pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Gym on site Location: Nottinghamshire, with hybrid working considered

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project costs from procurement through to final account.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms.
• Oversee subcontractor payments and valuations.
• Ensure project budgets are maintained and cost reporting is accurate.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support commercial decisions through accurate financial data.

Experience & Skills Required

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant QS role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Understanding of contract fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting tools.
