Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor

South Yorkshire (site and office based)

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum + Benefits

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in design and build and JCT contracts

Looking to join a growing contractor delivering large-scale commercial and residential projects across the North Midlands and Yorkshire region?

TS Recruitment is partnering with a leading main contractor to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth across the business

Role Responsibilities:

Design and build experience with JCT contract knowledge

Commercially run your own projects with the ability to solve problems and bring them back on track

Produce take off quantities and a schedule of works

Devise subcontract tenders, finalise contracts and chair subcontractor meetings

Produce Cost value reports and identify any failings offering solutions to any issues and actins in place to bring them in line

Provide input into design meetings

Site based role (Yorkshire / North Notts Region) overseeing a project circa £10 million with office visits required I the Midlands.

About the Company:

? Established main contractor

Projects valued between £2M - £10M

Work predominantly within the East Midlands and Yorkshire region

Focused on commercial and care home projects

What We're Looking For:

?? 10 years plus experience with a tier 1 / 2 contractor

?? Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)

?? A proactive Quantity Surveyor who can identify issues and put actions in place

?? Forward thinking and dynamic
