Quantity Surveyor

An established regional civil engineering contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Leeds-based team. The role will support a variety of civil engineering projects, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and public realm schemes.

You’ll manage commercial and contractual matters throughout the full project lifecycle, from subcontract procurement to final accounts, working closely with project teams to maintain budget control and drive value.

• Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts

• Procure and manage subcontract packages

• Administer contracts (NEC and bespoke forms)

• Assess and issue subcontractor payments

• Measure and value works (on-site and from drawings)

• Track variations, changes, and provisional sums

• Maintain cost reports, CVRs, and subcontract liabilities

• Liaise with delivery teams to monitor progress and cost impact

• Ensure records, notices, and documentation are accurate and up to date

• HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline

• Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects

• Strong contract knowledge (NEC preferable)

• Good commercial awareness and reporting skills

• IT literate with MS Office and cost management systems

• Full UK driving licence
