Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a leading specialist contractor as they look to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on either a permanent or freelance basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking business renowned for its quality, innovation, and delivery across high-profile and technically complex projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key part of the commercial team, responsible for managing the full commercial lifecycle of major projects. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders and contribute to the successful financial delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering positive commercial outcomes as part of a wider project team

• Overseeing all commercial elements from contract award through to final account

• Managing project variations and change control in collaboration with clients

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Working cross-functionally with internal departments to drive project success and profitability

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS within the construction industry

• Strong understanding of NEC3 or NEC4 forms of contract

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Commercial acumen and attention to detail

• Experience in managing variations while maintaining strong client relationships

• Knowledge of fabrication processes (desirable but not essential)
