• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures.
• Produce and submit applications for payment.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial targets are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost implications.
• Prepare reports on project costs and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or estimator, specifically within the groundworks and civils sector.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
