Quantity Surveyor - Commercial & Industrial Fit-Out

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (Flexible DOE)

An established and forward-thinking main contractor based in the West Midlands, specialising in CAT A & CAT B office and industrial fit-out and refurbishment across the Midlands region. With a strong reputation for delivering quality projects from £10K to £3M, the business continues to grow its pipeline and team.

The Role:

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, working closely with site teams and directors. This is role will require both office and site-based responsibilities, offering excellent exposure across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project cost plans, estimates, and budgets

Take-off quantities and produce BOQs for pricing and procurement

Manage sub-contractor procurement, payments, and accounts

Monitor project variations and compile change documentation

Assist with valuations, interim applications, and final accounts

Support contract administration across JCT and D&B contracts

Work collaboratively with site managers and clients to ensure commercial success

Maintain cost control and cashflow forecasting

Requirements:

4+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (fit-out experience preferred)

Familiar with CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects

Understanding of JCT forms of contract

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and estimating software

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or relevant field (preferred)
