An excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a rapidly growing principal contractor specialising in external works across London and the South East. The role offers variety, clear progression, and the chance to be part of a dynamic, expanding business.

The company has ambitious plans to double its turnover and establish itself as the go-to contractor in London and the South East. With a strategy to diversify its workload, it offers genuine, uncapped opportunities for career progression.

This principal contractor specialises in external works, including roofing, cladding, EWI, and refurbishment projects. Established over 10 years ago, the business has grown to a turnover of £20 million and aims to reach £100 million. With a clear growth strategy that includes diversifying workstreams, the company is seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor eager to progress and ultimately become part of the senior leadership team.

In this role, you will manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects valued up to £7 million. Responsibilities include site measurement, preparing BOQs, producing monthly valuations and CVRs, and managing accounts through to completion. You will also work closely with the Design and Construction teams to ensure accurate budgeting and seamless project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a few years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in the built environment or on external projects, and be keen to propel their career. You'll thrive in a dynamic role within a supportive, close-knit team committed to driving the company's growth.

The Role:
* Quantity Surveying across a range of construction projects
* Managing and overseeing cost control from start to completion
* Preparing monthly CVRs, valuations, and final accounts
* Office-based in Southend-on-Sea

The Person:
* A few years' Quantity Surveying experience within the built environment
* Experience in externals or roofing preferred
* Strong understanding of cost control and commercial management
* Ambitious and driven individual seeking career progression
