Are you a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a major project with one of the UK's leading contractors?

We're working with a Tier 1 main contractor on an exciting £75m hotel redevelopment in Central London. The project involves a full refit of guest rooms and communal areas, alongside structural works to modernise and upgrade the existing building. With a 92-week programme, this scheme offers genuine exposure to large-scale, complex construction, the perfect opportunity to develop your experience and work closely with a talented commercial team.

As the Number 2 QS on the project, you'll support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in all aspects of cost management, procurement, and subcontractor coordination from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the commercial and financial aspects of the £75m hotel project
Oversee valuations, variations, and subcontractor payments
Manage procurement packages and contribute to cost forecasting
Support cost reporting and ensure commercial objectives are achieved
Collaborate closely with site and design teams to ensure quality and profitability

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within main contracting (hotel, fit-out, or mixed-use experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
Excellent attention to detail and confident communication skills
Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work within a fast-paced team
