Quantity Surveyor

An independent and well-regarded property and construction consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their established team in central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable Quantity Surveyor to become a key part of a collaborative cost consultancy practice with a strong reputation across the UK.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of a broad range of projects spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage, and education sectors. Working closely with clients and senior stakeholders, the Quantity Surveyor will contribute to both pre- and post-contract cost management, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, on time and within budget.

This role is ideally suited to a Quantity Surveyor with experience in consultancy environments who is looking to step into a position with real influence and long-term progression.

Quantity Surveyor - Role & Responsibilities

Supporting and delivering full cost consultancy services from feasibility through to final account
Preparing cost plans, tender documentation and procurement strategies
Managing contractor appointments and tender processes
Assisting with risk management, change control and contract administration
Producing regular cost reports and advising on value engineering
Supporting senior colleagues and providing guidance to junior staff where requiredQuantity Surveyor - Requirements

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline
Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a UK consultancy environment
Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement and contract management
Experience working across sectors such as residential, education, commercial or heritage
Professional, proactive and confident when liaising with clients and stakeholders

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum
31 days holiday including Bank Holidays
