Location: Site / Office / Remote (flexible)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE
Projects: Up to £10m

Overview

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-value façade and envelope packages on major UK construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for multiple projects from pre-contract through to final account.

This is a key role offering a high level of autonomy, exposure to complex projects, and flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Full commercial management of façade projects up to £10m in value

*

Preparation, submission, and agreement of interim valuations

*

Management of variations, change control, and compensation events

*

Cost forecasting, cash flow management, and monthly CVRs

*

Procurement and commercial management of subcontractors

*

Preparation and negotiation of final accounts

*

Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual and commercial obligations

*

Working closely with project managers, design teams, and clients

*

Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members where required

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction

*

Background with façade, cladding, envelope, or specialist subcontract packages is highly desirable

*

Strong working knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT experience essential)

*

Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

*

Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
