We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? As our Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial performance of our projects by monitoring budgets, producing detailed cost reports, forecasting cash flow, and identifying potential areas of risk or loss. You’ll be involved in the full procurement and subcontractor management process, including analysing tenders, appointing subcontractors, and managing their accounts through valuations and payments. You will also contribute to effective contract administration by preparing, negotiating, and reviewing contracts, as well as managing variations, claims, and disputes. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate and timely reporting through monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and client requirements. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help drive commercial efficiency and support successful project delivery across the team. What you’ll bring Experience in a contracting environment Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction field Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and specialized construction software Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
