Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to work across technically interesting projects while developing your commercial expertise within a supportive and experienced team. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of projects from early procurement through to final account, ensuring strong cost control and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Managing subcontract procurement and package administration Preparing and submitting applications for payment Managing variations, change control and contractual notices Producing cost reports and supporting monthly CVRs Monitoring project budgets, forecasting and cash flow Assisting with subcontractor negotiations and final accounts Working closely with operational teams to manage commercial risk and opportunity About You Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction Good understanding of standard forms of contract (NEC experience beneficial) Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with project and operational teams Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred) If you're a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your career within a busy civil engineering contractor delivering technically interesting projects, feel free to get in touch for a confidential conversation.
