Quantity Surveyor – Fareham / Hybrid

Location: Fareham, Hampshire / Hybrid
Salary: £70,000+ DOE
Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum
Holiday: 23 Days + Bank Holidays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team working across a range of projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded QS who wants more than simply administering contracts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen the commercial function of the business, working closely with Project Managers and supporting the development of the wider team.

Key Duties

* Manage and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

* Work closely with Project Managers to maximise commercial performance and protect revenue.

* Monitor project costs, variations, valuations and financial performance.

* Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide effective solutions.

* Help develop and improve commercial processes and support the development of the wider team.

Essential Requirements

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant experience.

* Proven experience in contract administration and commercial management.

* Strong understanding of project costs, revenue protection and commercial efficiency.

* Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers and colleagues of varying experience levels.

* Dynamic and commercially driven approach, with the confidence to develop and improve the commercial side of the business.

Package

* £70,000+ salary, depending on experience.

* £6,000 car allowance.

* 23 days holiday + bank holidays.

* Hybrid working.

* Based within a commutable distance of Fareham.

* Security clearance required.
