The business delivers a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including major rail schemes , providing the opportunity to work across a varied and commercially challenging project portfolio. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include: Managing project costs and commercial performance Cost forecasting, reporting and final accounts Managing contractual and commercial obligations Procurement and subcontract management Identifying commercial opportunities and managing risk Managing variations and change Working closely with project teams, clients and the supply chain Supporting the delivery of projects safely, efficiently and commercially About You We're looking for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with experience within rail, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction . You'll ideally have: Previous experience working in a Quantity Surveying role Strong commercial and contractual knowledge Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships Good understanding of project costs, forecasting and reporting Strong communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive and commercially driven approach £55,000-£65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits This is a strong opportunity to join an established infrastructure business with a healthy project pipeline and scope for long-term career development.
