Quantity Surveyor – Darlington

TAY Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction contractor based in Darlington.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of a variety of construction projects, including commercial new builds, extensions and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project costs, budgets and commercial performance.

*

Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts.

*

Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and accounts.

*

Monitor project expenditure and identify commercial risks.

*

Work closely with Site Managers and Project Managers.

*

Attend site meetings and provide commercial updates.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

*

Experience working on commercial new builds, extensions and refurbishment projects.

*

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects.

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
