OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, ideally with at least 2 years of experience but are open to a proactive Graduate.

Reporting to Senior Surveyors, Contracts Manager and Directors you will manage commercial and contractual matters from project outset through to completion on a variety of projects from roads and structures to flood prevention to renewable energy projects, carrying out all necessary functions including subcontract package procurement and management, agreement of main contract and subcontract interim applications and final accounts, measurement take-offs and variation/change control costing, value engineering, creation and submission of programmes, contract administration and cost forecasting and reporting.

The role will be based out of our Glasgow office with visits to various sites across the whole of Scotland and North England.

WHAT YOU NEED Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar; Ideally previous experience in a similar role; Ability to work as part of team; Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility; Attention to detail; Ability to communicate effectively; Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills; IT proficiency; Ability to meet deadlines; Security cleared or the ability to obtain the required level of clearance; Knowledge of basic common law, contract law and standard form conditions of contract; Experience with contract documentation preparation; Ability to manage change control effectively; Experience with contract administration, ensuring contract compliance; Experience with cost forecasting and reporting.
