Façade Engineer, Structural Engineer, Glazing, Fenestration, Aluminium Windows, Aluminium Doors, Facades, Windows & Doors, Architectural Windows, Architectural Facades, Sliding Doors, Bi Fold Doors, Balconies, Curtain Walling, Architectural Aluminium, Building Envelope, Facades, Architectural, AutoCAD Location: London Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Estimator & Bid Specialist – Building Envelope will involve: · Quantity Surveyor position dealing curtain walling, windows, doors, cladding, SFS, glazing, and metal work · Meeting with clients for site visits building relationships · Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations · Producing formal quotations to customers · Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines · Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database · Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information · Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers The ideal applicant will be Estimator & Bid Specialist – Building Envelope with: · Must have experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a subcontractor · Ideally have experience with façade systems, cladding systems, curtain walling, windows and doors, architectural metalwork, SFS and associated secondary steel or support systems · Proven experience working with clients tendering and managing bids · Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant façade performance standards. · IT literate (Microsoft Office) · Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction vacancies and Specification positions within: Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, QS, Architectural, Building Envelope.
