Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out will involve:

• Quantity Surveyor position dealing with fit-out and refurbishment projects primarily for hotels
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Working on projects ranging in value up to £30m

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out with

• Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the fit out / design & build market sector
• Working experience dealing with projects £20m+ in value would be highly advantageous
• Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
• Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communicator written and verbally
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
